The family at Rise Bar recently had the opportunity to make a donation to Feed the Hungry, a global organization founded by Dr. Lester Summrall in 1987. We wanted to Rise to the Occasion and bring a smiling face to those who need it the most. Feed the Hungry has delivered more than $200 million of food and supplies to hungry, hurting people in 92 nations around the globe. The organization has provided local emergency support for events like the Oklahoma tornadoes and Hurricane Sandy off of the Atlantic coast. Primarily, Feed the Hungry is dedicated to truly saving lives all over the world by providing emergency food to hungry children and families around the world. For every dollar donated, 93¢ goes to program services. Thank you to our everyday heroes!
