- Write them down. Handwritten is what we prefer so you can spend more time writing them out and thinking about what it means to you.
- Keep your list in a safe place, so it’s easy to refer back to and start tracking how you’ve changed.
- When writing your list, make each item a full sentence that begins, “I’m grateful for …” or “I’m grateful that …” This way, it’s a complete thought, and you’re not just listing things or people, but actively associating them with giving thanks.

We believe in this handy way to shift our consciousness for the better and invite our community to join us as we thrive through Thanksgiving. Getting Started As with any new habit, start small: Decide that every day, starting today, you’re going to write down five things you’re grateful for.
